It's here to commemorate the trials and tribulations that we all go through as designers. Some of us want ot share our work with the world...others want to profit off the backs of others. Do Only Good Everyday! <Center><B>03/22/2022 I'm Back...</Center></B> <Center>I have updated the design and changed it to incorporate a new feature. :D As you may notice, from the original Topsy Micro (Released on May 04, 2018) this design features a 2mm backplate. The backplate is NOT a secondary piece of geometry, everything is ONE...manifold...mesh. I hope you like the new UNIQUE design. There will be more tools coming out when I get the time to finalize and PROTECT them. Again, thank ALL of you for the support. You have shown me that there is a community out there that welcomes these ideas. I have heard your response! It is with a heavy heart that I bring you this news. You will no longer be able to download the Topsy Micro. The individual named in the DMCA Takedown notice has Patented my design and has claimed it as his original invention. I gained more than I hoped to from this project, it was definitely a passion project designed to be shared, not to be profited from. It is great to see this being sold in so many different shops online. It gives me great joy to read customer reviews and know that I am responsible for their successful grow journey. That is something that can never be taken away. I would love to see your plants!</B> </b> I would like to thank everyone for the feedback that I have received on TopsyMicro! This was a passion project that I developed over a growing season and put to use for myself. I was sitting in a basement recording a ton of numbers for my grow diary and just seeing if I was ACTUALLY helping the plant grow. It worked SO well that I wanted to share this design with the public. I literally uploaded Version 2 WIP to ThingiVerse just so that I could let others experience how easy it could be to manipulate their Cannabis plants. I knew that the cross-over of Cannabis Growers with 3D Printers would be a pretty small market but, I figured that a handful of people would find it and put them to use. I couldn't have been more wrong! I'm truly grateful that TopsyMicro is being used by so many people. I'm stoked that so many people are getting some use out of it! Again, Thank You All! <B>PLEASE DO NOT PRINT THIS FILE IN RESIN!</B> There are many reasons....but just be safe and keep it with PLA or any other GRAS material. LST or Low-Stress Training is something that a lot of people wish to do to their houseplants, but simply do not want to go through the hassle of garden ties or mess with a tiny trellis. I'm a big fan of growing small, but I've got other things to work on besides untangling a bunch of netting. Besides, growing tiny bonsai cannabis bushes is very thereputic. This is where the Topsy Micro comes in. The Topsy Micro is designed to bend your branch at a 137° angle. This will allow for more light penetration to the lower areas of the plant without damage to the branch. Plants seem to like the 137° angle. Why was this angle chosen? Who knows....you come up with some crazy ideas when you spend this much time with a plant. No matter how soft the garden tie, things can, and will happen. There is nothing more tear-jerking than snapping a branch from your plant. The Topsy Micro is designed to give just the right bend in just the right place. And what's better, it's mobile. If you've made a mistake and need a bend in a different location, just remove it and move it! You can also place this clip around a node site. This allows for complete control over where you want your bends. This design can be scaled up to accommodate most plant sizes. This is a <B>Work-In-Progress</B> so there may be slight design changes but for the most part, this is it. I have Multiples installed on a few plants and can tell you that they are holding strong even after 5 months.
