An old antique family heirloom converted from a petroleum lamp, originally a standard lamp for all justitial secretaries (Danish: "Byskriver") employed by the local town municipality or "thing" (Danish: "Byting") . All parts are essentially solids of revolution, and so can be machined on a lathe (Except for the lampshade, and its components of course) The model itself can now be regarded as finished, though I have not bothered with any of the threading (Which nearly all parts are assembled by).
