The prototype of the Renault ZPDE coach was officially presented on June 18, 1935. Its engine is a 4 cylinders of 8,4 L of displacement, for a fiscal power of 22 CV. Its empty weight (bare chassis) is 3720 Kgs, for a GVM of 8770 Kgs. The proposed model is a ZPDEg, which was bodied in house by Jean Henri Labourdette and presented at the World Fair of Paris in 1937. It was bought new on February 8, 1937 by Roger Spiessert (brother of the director of the Pinder Circus). It is registered 5390 HD3. Its colors are Blue / Very dark red -Brown during the period when it left Pinder for Le Cirque des Cirques ("brief escapade" of Roger to his own account in 1938). On 29/10 1941, Roger Spiessert sold it to his brother, Charles Spiessert, Director of the Circus. It is still registered 5390 HD3, but it changes to the Pinder colors of the time: Orange/Red. After this purchase, the ZPDE tows a small caravan called Dining-Car, intended, as its name indicates, to serve as Dining Room to the Spiessert couple. In 1947, the ZPDE becomes Yellow/Red, Pinder colors that will remain in use until the present time. Charles Spiessert gives it to one of his sons. The ZPDE kept its registration until the date of implementation of the new registration regulations. It thus becomes 3 J 37 in January 1951 and it is resold on 27/10 1951 to a garage which will resell it to another Circus." The proposed kit allows to mount one of the 2 main versions that this vehicle has known, "Artillery" rims and straight chimney for the Red / Orange livery, Chrome hubcaps and T-shaped chimney for the Yellow / Red livery The kit includes 29 files to be printed imperatively in resin given the size and thinness of some parts. It is possible to print the kit for you. Contact me
