Bigger is better. I found out that my previous version was lacking in several key areas: it was too small, not strong enough, and its frame wasn't stable. I redesigned the entire thing to tackle these issues head-on. I made it bigger and added a 6mm hole inside the leadscrew where you can insert a metal rod to give the screw some extra oomph. You can use an aluminum rod or a threaded M6 rod - either one will do the trick. The base top is secured with two M5 screws and nuts, while everything else holds together with glue. I also made sure that the screw is loose for easier printing.
