This object is a blade holder / slider for a " Olfa " Box Cutter knife. Needless to say it would have less trouble to go to the dollar store and buy one.... But it is a personal design challenge.... Yes i took heat from the other inhabitant of the house. ;) "Why are you wasting time on this #&@% " The 4a object was designed without the little tension arm. The tension arm did not live up to expectations. The 4b object has some thinning of the base part. Not printed yet, but might help the retraction into the handle. The part is not perfect, but helps stop broken junk from landing in the "garbage". I hate throwing stuff away. Instructions Printed this in PLA 2 perimeters, 0.3mm layers, 10% infill. Support, and a raft layer. Slic3r 1.28 experimental used. Be CAREFULL when taking the support off, DO NOT cut yourself..... nuff said. I had to sand the "nubs" on the arms round to make it go smoothly. Tried printing this on the flat, and failed. Printed it on the side as shown, and it worked ok.
