Oliver #5 typewriter keycaps

Oliver #5 typewriter keycaps

My Oliver #5 typewriter, made in 1908 was missing a couple of keycaps. So I printed some quick simple stand-ins until I get something a bit nicer done for it. The keycaps are made in two parts and then glued together. This keeps the 3D printing troubles down. At the moment the model is simply a blank. If I ever get a resin printer I’ll make some with the letters engraved in the parts. For a filament printer the text is simply too fine. Still it beats having a missing cap location and the typewriter looks much better. Check out my YouTube video on my Oliver #5 typewriter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAJPSO9Wk5U
