I took the original battery door lever and made a few modifications to it. I found the original one relied on friction and a tight screw to operate the lock mechanism when turning the lever. I wanted to have a more secure connection between the lever and locking mechanism. I therefore extended the barrel and also added a keyed locking piece that the actual lock mechanism will snap right over top of. This way when the lever is moved, the actual metal mechanism must move. To properly use this you will likely need to take the full battery door apart. There are two screws on the inside that need to be removed to expose the locking mechanism. The first one is visible and the second one is under a sticker. I needed to do this so i could snap the locking mechanism over this lever keyed part. Hopefully this makes sense. Now when i move the lever the lock moves great. I rotated the keyed part by 20deg so that the locking mechanism extends out sufficiently when the lever is in the locked selection and retracts properly when in the unlocked position. This maybe could be tinkered with if you find its not fully working. I should also mention that i enlarged the little slot that shows what position the lock is in, and I also removed the design lines that match the olympus part design. I just made the top smooth. I found that my printer (anycubic) didnt do a good job with the lines due to their thinness and it just slows the printer down. Now the part prints in about 5 mins or less.
