Olympus TG Cover for Caving

This is a lens cover for the Olympus TG series of cameras. I have a TG-5 but understand that it will fit most earlier versions in the series. It has been specifically designed with caving in mind. The cover in the closed position protects the camera lens from dirt and grit. In the open position it protects the camera image from the results of the camera flash. Whilst caving it is not desirable to use the inbuilt flash on the camera because of the back splatter you get from moisture in the air. However, I sometimes use the flash for triggering other remote flashes. This cover therefore folds up to protect the flash from the image area but still allows enough light out the sides to trigger a remote. I appreciate that non-cavers may like the look of this and want to make one where the cover folds away from the flash. If this is the case, please message me and I will generate an alternative base design for this. The hinge uses a piece of 1.75mm filament as a hinge pin. Supports are necessary and can be tricky to remove from the base but this is a product of the Olympus bezel design which I could not avoid unfortunately. ***UPDATE*** I have added a 'Universal' version, which can be placed onto the camera in three different positions, so it can either cover the flash or not. It also has slightly thicker walls to make it a bit more robust, but the 'Universal' design element requires the tabs to be made smaller. This means that it can still have a bit of rotational play once it has clipped in, but this is not detrimental.
