What is it :
This is a box I designed to store and ship small and delicate parts.
It has a number of goals / features :
1- Manage small parts
2- Protected from impacts and scratching
3- Protect from humidity during transport
4- Show product presence without opening it.
5- Ease of use and re-usability.
6- Be stackable (tower of multiple boxes should stack without sliding when in drawers.
7- Give products an premium feel.
8- Space for identification stickers on the side compatible with 9mm label writers.

Why? :
Look at them, there awesome! They feel even better IRL!
I wanted to makes an example of a more complicated 3D printed product to explore what complexity and quality is possible and use it as an example. Meanwhile it also solved a real storage and shipping challenge I was having.

I'm uploading this work because I like to make some of my works open-source and free for others to use. I'm uploading this work just as is for people who are interested, want to make more or edit it. I can't give support or guarantees anything to anyone who wants to make this for his own usage. I can give support/help/provide prints if really needed but this would need to go through my business info@acecraft.eu.

Print instructions

This is the "un-cut" version, meaning the flexible (yellow) parts don't have any cut-out shape(s) in it yet. I have uploaded the 3D files (f3d,STEP) so you can edit the flexible parts easy to provide your own custom cutouts for your parts. You can also use them without these flexible parts as a more standard container (maybe adding some fillers like cotton is still a good idea ;)

What is included :

All .STL files;

.f3d and .STEP files for uncut flexible (yellow) parts;

.3mf Prusa project files with custom slicer settings pre-loaded;

.svg Box stickers template

What you need (AcE Craft Style) :

Clear NGEN or PET (Transparent)

Semi Matt Black PLA

Ninjaflex

Silicagel with indicator (orange to green, look for non toxic versions)

Printable sticker paper (I used scratch resistant A4 for laser printer)

Your awesome product/parts of course ;)

How to print :
I made three .3fm files, one for each material I'm using. I advice to use these as starting point because they have all the correct slicer settings. If you made modifications like you most likely would want to do for the ninjaflex parts (modded with you own cut-outs) then you need to right-click on those parts in the slicer and select "Reload from disk". Make sure you modded parts have the same name as the original once in order for prusaslicer to find the files, reload them, and apply all custom slicer settings to them automatically. Specially the ninjaflex parts have some funny slicing things going on.

Silicagel with indicator :
I use silicagel with non-toxic orange to green indicator in my boxes. I put it in just before I put them on transport or storage. It helps prevent moist forming on metal parts during temperature changes by lowering the humidity inside the boxes. Over time the silicagel will saturate, but they can be re-activated by drying them using a microwave or hot-plate and will turn orange when fully dried. I would advice to dry them outside the boxes, if left inside never exceed glass temperature of your 3D printed materials X3 (<50C).

Changing some ATTRIBUTION, I do allow some changes, read below
I do share this project open with anyone, but I want to keep my name related to it to hopefully find new people with awesome idea's and project. I also need to eat bread... I love bread ;). However, I do ALLOW SOME CHANGE if you like to make place for you own art or business logo or site.

You can change the following to your liking :

"AcE" logo on the side sticker lables.

If original bottom sticker is applied with my logo and site, you may change the 3D printed/engraved "AcE" logo on the side to your own.

If original bottom sticker is applied with my logo and site, you may change the 3D printed/engraved "acecraft.eu" text on the side to your own.

For questions or requests please contact me on info@acecraft.eu
