One Plus Two car holder for Brodit mount

This is a phone holder designed for the One+ 2 Mobile phone but will hold anything of a similar depth and width (can hold phones slightly bigger in both dimensions). NOTE: This is NOT a stand alone phone holder but is designed to work with the Brodit mount system. I had previously owned a Samsung S5 and bought one of these (http://linkowl.net/d6c9) to hold it in my car. This model is a replacement for the part of this kit that holds the phone. Print Settings Printer: Flashforge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 100microns / 0.4mm Infill: 15% Notes: I printed this without a brim or support material. The lip that holds the phone in place would be difficult to remove support from cleanly in my opinion but it came out really nicely first print. It is recommended to print this with it's large face on the print bed. Whilst this does in theory sacrifice maximum strength, this should never be a real issue with this device, but what it does to is increase chances of a smooth surface for your phone to slide in and out of. If your printer struggles with overhangs, this may be a difficult item to print lying flat on it's back, in which case I would recommend standing it upright (with the broken bottom flat to the bed) and using a wide brim. Equally, if your printer struggles with bridging, you may want to increase the infill slightly to improve the smoothness of the top layer but this is only really relevant if you are still printing it as recommended with the large face on the bed. Post-Printing Once it's printed, I cut two thin 10x70mm strips of adhesive foam (smooth fronted) and stuck this on the inside of the two side grooves. This gives a good grip for the phone and allows a range of phones to be held in place without any chance or wear or scratching on the phone from the plastic of the holder. Then, it should be a simple matter of screwing the Brodit adaptor on the back with the centre screw already in place, then fitting that to your Brodit mount.
