One Print Hinged Case

One Print Hinged Case

This case prints complete with working hinges. I originally tried to print the latches as well, but they kept breaking off (layers weren't fully bonded), so this version prints the latches in the gap between the top and bottom case and then you just snap them in place afterwards. This way the latches are much stronger. I created this in FreeCad and have included both the freecad file and an export in OpenScad format. Not sure if that can be edited, but you are try. I got the idea from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:82533 but created my own version of the hinges. Instructions The OnePrintCase is all you need to print. This was designed to print on a XYZ DaVinci and fills most of the 200mm x 200mm bed. The gap between the inside pin and the hole in the hinges is designed to allow movement without slop. If you reduce or expand this print the hinges might not work. I've included the other files (including the hinges) for anyone that might want to use them in their own designs.
