This is a valve used for fermentation for the purpose of making alcohol. I designed this for making Mead. Just use some glue(I used 3D Gloops PLA Gloop but super glue would probably work aswell) to attach the cap and valve and remember to fill the valve part with water. The water acts as the one way check valve that lets the pressurized CO2 and air from fermentation out but does not allow the lower pressure air to back feed and contaminate your brew. You also need some type of seal. I experimented with TPE/TPR printed seals but never found success. Preferably just get a silicone seal off amazon or something since I have had trouble getting my printed one to seal well over time.
