I started with a housing found here and made some changes. I removed the "bump" where the nozzle mounts because this made it very difficult to clean-up this diameter. I changed the lever to exit out the side to make it MUCH easier to use and get your fingers away from the hot-end. I added a motor spacer as a separate part to help keep the motor heat away from the housing, to give moving air another place to exit and to make it easy to use the original screws. On the carriage part, I took an existing design and cut it into two pieces which eliminated 70% of the filament required to print. I also cut the section widths down to lighten it up. I added a couple stops to accomodate a 20mm x 6mm fan and use the belt clamp as a bridge between the two pieces. Last I created a simple filament guide to mount to the top-center of the printer. Here are the pieces: Modified Housing Filament Lever 2 Piece Carriage Slip-on Belt clamp Main Fan Bracket Motor Spacer Instructions Print the housing, lever and carriage and their respective mirrors. Assemble with original screws, bearing and spring for lever arm. Use a 3mm x 6mm flat head screw in the top of the spring. Clean-up extruder hole with a 5/8" (sharp!) dril bit. Drill holes in housing for main fan bracket. Additional Items needed: 20mm x 6mm, 5v or 12v fan 2.5mm x 20mm Socket head screw 2x 3mm x 30mm Socket head screw and 1x locknut 2x 3mm x 6mm flat head screws After print clean-up, tap 3mm holes in each carriage piece to attach the belt clamp. Careful to not over-tighten motor screws. Slip the 20mm fan in from the top after assembly. Wire the fan to the Printrboards 5 or 12v output. If belt clamp is loose, use layers of blue tape on the belt to tighten up.
