Experimenting with ninjaflex, I discovered that attempting to print with the springy filament resulted in buckling inside the extruder housing and creating a mess. To resolve this issue, I designed a simple part to provide support from the gears to where it enters the hotend. Currently, I am using this extruder (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:728158), but I may also test its compatibility with other designs in the future.
