Onewheel Pint Concave Footpads

Onewheel Pint Concave Footpads

These are front and back concave footpads for the Onewheel Pint. The back pad has a higher kick, and the front is more gentle. The sensor tends to stick with the front footpad at the moment, since the sensor has never done well with a concave surface. I'm going to try it with a toe-only concave like the Craft & Ride pads and see if that improves the reliability of the sensor, so for now the front pad is more of a work in progress. I don't have any issue with a symmetrical toe-heel concave on the back pad, but I can see how toe-only might be more comfortable if the curve was more aggressive. I feel that there doesn't need to be much sideways concave to make a real difference, and for the back pad it's the kick that really matters. I was a bit underwhelmed with the Pint when I started riding it consistently, mostly because I have been spoiled by double concave on my XR, but with these pads I am really starting to enjoy it. For mounting, use M4 heat inserts for plastic, which can be installed using a soldering iron. https://www.mcmaster.com/94459a150
