A chibi Oni. Is a kind of yokai (mythical creatures) . They are basically hideous ogre-like creatures that wear tiger skinned clothing and are usually caught wielding iron clubs. Oni are said to cause unpleasant things to happen and I grew up watching this show called Urusei Yatsura or Lum the Invader Girl starring an oni. I found the show to be somewhat hilarious to a certain degree and other times just weird. One of my favorite characters on the show was Jari-Ten.
