Starting with the "Princess Leia Organa" action figure: Remove belt and gown. Remove head using hot water. Sculpt feet and lower legs using Dremel with fine point grinding burr and an exacto knife to create feet in sandals instead of the boots. Thoroughly wash figure with warm soapy water. Prime with Duplicolor Adhesion Promoter. Paint with Krylon ColorMaxx Satin Avocado. Add details with Vallejo acrylics. Top coat with Krylon CloroMaxx Flat Crystal Clear. Netting was cut from black "tooling" from the fabric store using template included here. Sewed the netting around the ankles and wiping it together up the back with black thread. Small black rubber bands ("kids hair ties") were used for the leg bands. A small ring was made for the collar from some silver solder. The material didn't stretch enough for the crotch covering to slide over the hips. So a small cut was made in the back to create a small flap from the waist band to the back panel and glued back together with polyurethane glue (Gorilla Glue).
