I've a 1:43 model of my car (bought from Opel Collection) and wanted to mount it to a wall. So I modeled a little shelf for it with anti slip structures on top of it to lock the bottom of the model in place. But because of that you have to print it with supports. But the supports are only needed for the lower structures. The upper ones come out with an angle so most 3d printers won't have a problem printing that without support. See the picture for printing details. Screws for the wall should not be bigger than 4mm in diameter and/or 8mm head diameter. The scrws can sink in 2mm. Designed with Fusion 360. I've attached the project file for your customization.
