<p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Open Gear Ring</h3><p>&nbsp;</p><h5>Everyone is a maker</h5><p>&nbsp;</p><p>This ring is inspired by the Prusa motto: EVERYONE IS A MAKER. It is provided in two variants <strong>Slim</strong> and <strong>Large</strong>: the difference between the two variants is the ring's width, <strong>NOT</strong> it's size. Thank you very much and happy printing!</p><h3>Print instructions</h3><h4>Print Settings</h4><p><strong>For FFF printer users</strong>: Print it with <strong>0.1 mm layer height</strong> and place it on the printbed <strong>lying on the side</strong>: the Ring is designed in order to make it as much easy to print as possible; <strong>no Supports required</strong></p><p><strong>For SLA printer users</strong>: it shouldn't be difficult to print the Ring with SLA, but, since I don't own an SLA printer yet, I rely on comments for print suggestions</p><p><strong>Enjoy</strong> :)</p><h3>Sizing Instructions</h3><p>In order to print the <strong>Open Gear Ring</strong> so it can fit your finger you can simply <strong>adjust the scale factor in your slicer</strong> in three simple steps:</p><p>Measure your finger's diameter (<i>d</i>) or circumference (<i>c</i>) in mm</p><p>Find in the attached conversion table image the diameter (or circumference) you just measured and read the corresponding scale factor (<i>f</i>)</p><p>Calculate the scale factor yourself using the following formulas:</p><p>Knowing your finger's diameter <i>d</i> :</p><p>Scale factor <i>f = d / 19.5</i></p><p>Knowing your finger's circumference <i>c</i> :</p><p>Scale factor <i>f = c / (pi * 19.5)</i></p><p><strong>As simple as eating a Haribo candy</strong> XD</p>
