This 100% 3D Printed Airboat is extremely simple to build and at the same time it might be the most fun rc vehicle I've ever designed. The build requires no hardware like nuts and bolts and no dificult assembly. The parts can be printed in only a few hours because of the vasemode. It is however really important that you have your print settings right for this to work. Watching my video on the build will help with that. Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3KqLOkDkPW0 The only non printed parts you need is a radio and reciever, two 9g servos, a 2-3s battery and a 2205 brushless motor with a 4 inch prop. For the assembly you only need some hot glue, a secrewdriver to attach the motor and some tape. To print the parts you will need a 1mm nozzle. The print settings are very important! Read carefully and watch the video. Some of the parts are designed to be printed in vase mode using a 1mm nozzle with a 0.5mm layer height. The both airboat halves and the lid should/need to be printed with those settings since they have been designed to trick the vasemode to print layers. Only works with a 1mm nozzle. This is done for strong prints, lightweight construction and to reduce printing time. Happy printing! /3Drcnc
