****April 2019*** As a moron went and killed 50 people NZ is about to lose all access to AR15s etc hence no more development on 223R for this. If I do continue it will be on 308W I suspect. Dec 2018 All parts printed, assembled, Beta testing (part BoM below). Made both 223R and 308W options. Operational test using 5rpm motor, 2rpm motor on order as slower is good enough IMHO. I found that the Setting angle is 55Deg, but this might need tweaking. Bench test, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bXv3oofM15c&t=44s Designed to be printed on a 200x200mm 3D printer. Please note the step and f3d files ie source is provided so if you want a different caliber download and edit the fulcrum and the four outer plates, and drop shute tube as necessary. The source files are however a bit of a mess, need cleaning up. a) 1 base plate centre, motor mount designed as changable/replacable. b) 4 quadrants of base plate. Bolt up but keys probably best to superglue, use a very thin superglue that has capillary action. c) 1 case collator plate centre, flange mount designed as changable/replacable. d) 4 quadrants of case collator plate. Note that the prints seem to twist a little so after bolting them up get them even to each other and superglue the keys. e) 3 sides. plus 2 joining plates and final guide plate. f) holder/support bracket. I found the distance for my design all wrong for the Dillon dog leg 26mm OD pipe so I fitted a straight 25mm OD pipe about 615mm (cut to length as needed) long. You can get Carbon fibre tubes/pipes in 600mm lengths which would look neat so I might mod to use these later. g) Control board, this is an optical switch, will add an on/off switch. Other parts a) 6mm ID flange to mount collator plate to motor b) Suitable motor, get a 5rpm motor (ZGB37RG 12VDC 37mm 5rpm) (2rpm motor ordered to test) c) With a 2rpm or 5rpm motor a PWM controller isnt needed to slow it down, just the optical switch. d) Other parts, to be determined. e) 25mm OD straight alloy tube, 615mm long (approx, cut to size to suit) replaces the Dillon dog leg tube. Notes 14-June Now the bullet feeder is in beta testing I am back on this. At present I am sorting out how the case feeder base and case feeder plate sit with one another. Next I will finish the walls then start on the actual collating bit. 24-June Bullet feeder still being worked on but I am sorting out the base and case collator on this.
