Open Source Hardware Logo

thingiverse

This is my first attempt to make a 3d object using OpenSCad, InkScape, so decided to make this 8x8cm OpenSoftwareHardware logo. Internal Legend turned out to be a bit to thin so that it could fit the logo, may need some extra cleaning, since I used this to fill with extra material it turned out to be fine. Instructions Used an Ultimaker printer with this configurations: Layer height: 0.2mm Wall thickness: 0.8mm Fill Density: 30% There are also additional OpenSCad and InkScape files available. Additional help on how to tweak InkScape vectorial files and export them to be used in OpenSCad here:http://rasterweb.net/raster/2013/01/06/the-making-of-make/ http://repraprip.blogspot.pt/2011/05/inkscape-to-openscad-dxf-tutorial.html http://www.makerbot.com/blog/2011/05/23/openscad-intermediates-extruding-2d-objects/
