This OpenAPS system tray holds an 18650 Lithium Ion battery for safety and long life, a fast Adafruit PowerBoost 10000 charger, an Intel Edison with mini breakout board, and a TI cc1111 programmable transmitter. I have used JST-PH connectors extensively because I like the firm connections they provide, but it is possible to make this rig with a standard ribbon cable between the Edison breakout board and the TI transmitter. Assembled size is 74mm x 58mm x 24mm. I will adapt the tray to hold an ERF transmitter as soon as I have time. The OpenAPS documentation and MMeowlink wiki include all the information needed to build one of these rigs!
