OpenBCI UltraCortexIV, quartered, manifold - medium

A remake of the UltracortexIV model from OpenBCI, size medium. My printer has a frustratingly small build volume for being ridiculously expensive (Makerbot MethodX), so my main purpose for manipulating this model was to cut it into quarters to print 1/4th at a time. I tried everything I could find when using the proper ultracortex model from OpenBCI (https://github.com/OpenBCI/Ultracortex/tree/master/Mark_IV/MarkIV-FINAL/STL_Directory), but just couldn't get it to be solid/manifold in Sketchup Pro. So, I remade it from scratch. I also didn't understand why there were inner and outer parts for the electrodes (seemed like DIY with extra steps), so I cutout the threads from the "loose" holders and put those directly in the model after printing a test to make sure it fit ok. After each quarter, ~15 wire clips, and Cyton board case halves were printed, I used Loctite superglue ultragel to put it together. I then just followed the OpenBCI instructions for installing all the electrodes, et al. The thing works quite well and the electrodes don't slip out or move. It has given me 100% consistent readings and, since each electrode's depth can be customized, a consistent fit. Some details: - this is for a medium-sized head - works with this DIY package from OpenBCI: https://shop.openbci.com/collections/frontpage/products/d-i-y-neurotechnologists-starter-kit?variant=13043169493064 - I arranged the quarters so the middle-most electrode holder was flat on the print bed to minimize supports (also, my printer refuses to print the proper PVA support material) - glue the largest faces first since the smallest (the top electrode holder) is quite flexible - make sure the superglue cures before putting it on your head (ask me why) - Since I freehand copied the original in order to remake it, it's possible my electrode positions aren't _exactly_ identical, but each time you put it on, there's a chance that it's not perfectly in the same place anyway, so I figured it's close enough - OpenBCI's license for this project is GNU General Public License v3.0 - For the board case, see the official repository (though to be honest, the "updated cover" doesn't have a great fit) https://github.com/OpenBCI/Ultracortex/tree/master/Mark_IV/MarkIV-FINAL/STL_Directory
