Building my own ACRO based system, I made a few changes to the plate design and milled a set from 3/16" (5mm) 6061 aluminum. The lower wheels have been moved together to improve belt wrap around the drive pulley and tension adjustment is being handled by eccentric spacers rather than open slotted holes. Other changes were made to stepper mounting points, x-azis tool mounting patterns, legs, and a y-axis rail support was added for large (1000mm+) systems. This design is a work in progress - modifications may need to be made to suit your application. Thanks for looking, and happy making!
