OpenForge is now a patron supported project. I use the resources that my patrons give me in order to get the resources to let me create more sophisticated tiles with a greater level of detail. Please, support me, and I’ll deliver an ongoing stream of awesome gaming terrain. You can find more about OpenForge and Masterwork Tools at our: Online catalog and backer site Website Forums (Mostly we use facebook now) Twitter Facebook Post-Printing Other Sets Docks Set 1 Docks Set 2 Docks Set 3 Docks Set 4 Docks Set 5 Docks Set 6 Ladder Customizer Assembly Here I'll show how to assemble a 2x4 section of docks. You will need: docks.decking.2x4 supports_beam.4x.* (print 2) brace.x2 (print 2) brace.x2.join.end2end (if you want to join more then one together at the seam 2 pilings per brace So, how do you pick the pilings? 1x/2x/3x/4x is how many squares tall. If it's 2x, that means the dock surface will be at 2x high. 2x+ means the dock base will be at 2x high. You can decide if you want to glue the braces on or press fit them so you can swap braces out. The parts Add the supports, and use the braces to make sure they are far enough apart Glue the supports to the decking glue the pilings to the braces with the squarish chunk under the bottom of the brace This is a join brace that lets you attach two docks together end to end Everything glued Spray paint in flat black primer. For paints I use Raw Umber, Burtn Sienna and Honey Brown from Americana. Paint the parts in the raw umber all over. Don't get in all the cracks, you want some black showing from underneath. Lightly fleck the burnt sienna over the parts. I generally paint with a fairly empty brush, and hit it with the sides. (Note: wrong paint pictured) Drybrush with the honey brown
