in the effort of printing many openlock pieces, i see that the many printed zone of every basement are a waste of PLA (and time!!), i spent some time thinking what i can do to reduce time and resource consume... and i try this way: -1 split the "dungeon ground" from the basement and printing it away, (with a good glue you can attach it later) -2 print the basement without any kind of central support, no need at all, the miniature that move above are weighting 1-2-3 grams circa, so no need to have this big resistance behind (at least for my situation). edit: is clear that all my openlock creation are remix of the original works of the_Rooster but i miss to check it on this one that is a remix too . really sorry for it this will lighter all the final base and reduce (a lot!!) the printing time... i've managed to redesing the 1x1 , 1x2, 1x4, 2x2, 2x4, 4x4 basement and now i'm finishing all my dungeon tiles set. those that i place here are the first that i was able to print (and so i can confirm...it work!) *** 29/01/2020 *** update: printing some bases i have a bit of difficult on placing the magnet sphere inside, i check the height and my basement are a bit small than the original, i rearrange the dimension and reprint it. appear better now. hope it help other openlockers ! :D
