<h1>Description:</h1> <p>This is a remix of Daniel Norée's (barspin) <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:83024/"> OpenRC 1:10 4WD Touring Car</a> with adjustments to fit aftermarket belts and metal differentials.</p> <p><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMys28n6f70/">Video V1 </a> first version</p> <p><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hH1WBURHl1Q/">Video V2</a> second version</p> <p><a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzpA-Wr-cjg/">Assembly</a> latest version</p> <h1>The following things were changed:</h1> * split the chassis in two pieces for smaller printbeds (220x220mm) + snap fit with groove and spring * merged the walls to one piece (necessary when the chassis is split) * moved the mounts of the motor spur gear in the walls to fit the belts * widend the hole for the servo about 2mm * added a diffuser (optional part) * added a motorholder * redesigned the shock towers to fit 55/62mm shocks * added a gyromount (optional part) * shortened the upper diff holder * redesigned: wall_left and wall_right to fit 10x5x4 bearings and you can use the bought metal pulley without changing the spur gear, added holes for the gyro * modified: steering_block, rear c-hub to fit 10x5x4 bearings * modified: bearing_holder to make a better fit for the 15x10x4 bearings * you only need two types of bearings now! * added a BOM (see below) <h1>Printed parts you need from original design:</h1> * 1x Steering_Right * 1x Steering_Left * 4x Wheel_Spacer * 1x Steering_Center_Piece * 2x Steering_Pin * 2x Rear_Turnbuckle (or you buy some: hole distance mid to mid: 40mm) * 2x Wishbone_-_Front * 2x Front_Turnbuckle (or you buy some: hole distance mid to mid: 35mm) * 1x Servo_Pin * 1x Shock_Tower_Rear (When you use 62mm shocks use the shorter one from my files. The shock/damper position is adjustable. Ride height is ok for me now. * 21/2/19: edited the chassis with a snap fit (groove and spring) + hole for the motorholder and deleted the old files * 21/2/19: redesigned and added a new motorholder, this one can be moved now (2 screws). Deleted the old file * 21/2/19: updated the walls (there were some artefacts from merging) * 21/2/19: added a new diffuser and deleted the old one * 27/2/19: added new pictures with the latest prints (magnet mounts are not yet included in the files) * 5/3/2019: added internal ratio and a link to calculate the final drive ratio * 16/3/2019: added a gyromount (not yet in the pictures) there are no holes in the walls.
