OpenRC F1 Rear wing Redux

OpenRC F1 Rear wing Redux

thingiverse

This is a redesigned rear wing for the OpenRC F1 car that I designed to look more like the rear wings of the current generations of cars. I also included the Solidworks file for those of you that might want to take a look at it there. Print Settings Printer Brand: Robo 3D Printer: R1 ABS + PLA Model Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .1mm or .15mm Infill: any (effectively 100%) Notes: The wing should be flipped to give the best results. Due to the filleting on the wing it needs to have rafts to print properly. Support settings that seem to work are to have Cura to support anything over a 40 degree angle (touching build plate). V2 Uploaded (4/16/16) the filleting of the trailing edge has been removed for better printing. V2 does not need rafts and should print quicker and with more accuracy. (V1 still needs rafts to print properly) I will keep the .STL posted for V1 for anybody that still wants to use it.
