This library generates metric external retaining rings models. It's based on the standard ANSI B27.7-1977, R1999. These rings are also referred to as Part# 3AM1-[XX], where [XX] represents the shaft diameter in millimeters. To use this model, simply type: ANSI_3AM1(S); Replace "S" with the nominal shaft diameter for the retaining ring you want to create. This library is designed to produce visually accurate mockups of part assemblies in OpenSCAD for screenshots and animations. However, it's not suitable for 3D printing.
