I wanted an OpenSCAD version of the top, so made this one up. This design uses a function to calculate the points along the curves, giving a smooth finish. It shows a coding pattern that could be copied for other purposes. v2 added which divides the top into a top and bottom part for casting into a metal object. NOTE: the object is fairly small, so I have been scaling to 300-400% at time of printing.
