Openwork bow tie

I began sketching a bow tie after returning from a wedding, but I sought something novel in its design. I didn't want a traditional ribbon wrapped around the neck secured by a fastener. Instead, it would attach directly to the shirt's button. Above all, I aimed for an original style.
