After swapping out the z-carriages for a design inspired by runtimeterror (2831084), the original z-endstop proved to be a major headache due to its non-adjustable nature. Since the adjustable holder suggested by qrisonline wouldn't mesh with the new carriages, I opted for an entirely new holder and an optical endstop instead.
