Optical illusion. Do you see a vase, or two heads in the negative space?  Edgar Rubin was a Danish psychologist who is famous for developing the "Rubin's Vase" around 1915. It is sometimes known as the "Rubin Face" or the "figure-ground vase". This is my version of this awesome optical illusion. I printed this vase in clear abs and painted it with black acrylic paint after removing the support material. i printed it on the small side to hold the little wild flowers my girls pick for me. It could certainly be printed on a much larger scale to show off the optical illusion more. For best results, display against a contast colour background.
