This cooling duct is intended to be used as a replacement part to the OEM found on the Flashforge Adventurer 3. It's been designed in a way that optimizes the air-flow path to maximize cooling (the OEM design has a kink in the flow-path that would disturb the air-flow and thus reduce the cooling performance). A one-sided design was intentionally chosen to prevent flow stagnation at the extruder.
