These are some additional optional parts for the "Hero Me Gen5 mod for Ender 5 Plus with Micro Swiss Direct Drive and Hotend" by JosselinBeaumont (thank you!): - LED Bar: It uses the screw holes for the 4010 FANs: on the front, instead of using M2 12mm screws from the outside I used 8mm to hold the fan and another 5mm screw from the inside to hold the LED bar. This is the perfect position as it sits high enough to allow obstructive view to the nozzle and illuminate the printer part... I used a little piece of this very cheap 5050 RGB LEDs strip from Amazon connected to the NeoPixel port on the SKR Mini E3 v2, works really well: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01LSF4QDM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The only issue is that the actual LEDs in that strip are quite apart so I folded it as per the picture and was able to fit 5 of them inside the bar. As an alternative, this LED strip has LEDs much closer together and uses RGBW LEDs so the white light is much better, but its quite pricey so maybe in the future if I need better LED strip for another project I'll replace them: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01MRSVRDD/?coliid=I3VGS5L2MBTQHC&colid=1BXBU4XH8GXSI&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it - BLTouch Bracket Shim: Because the original Creality BLTouch metal bracket goes on top of the Hero Me base, it kind of sits in the air making it a little bit unstable, I created this small shim that has the right thickness and fits perfectly in the bracket hole. - BLTouch Cover The red light from the BLTouch reflecting on the glass bed is kind of annoying when creating a timelapse. This cover, not only protects the BLTouch but also blocks most of the light but a single little round hole in the front, useful know if the thing is working. Based on the "BL Touch condom (cover)" from plastikinator (Thanks!) but adjusted with a cut to fit as the fan assambly is way too close. I wrapped a little piece of electric tape at top to make it tight so it does not move / vibrate. Updates: 2020-10-05: Added BLTouch Cover.
