This is a university project that has been created from the mechanism of an orange juicer. The structure of the juicer has been created using only digital manufacturing machines (laser and 3D printing). Steps for the correct construction: Step 1: Cut the DM wooden structure with laser or milling machine and glue the pieces with white glue. Step 2: Cut the methacrylate structure with laser and glue the pieces with chloroform. You also have to cut a hole in the half bowl of methacrylate the size of the tube, cut the tube and glue the two pieces. Step 3: Print the printed parts with 3D. (.stl files) Step 4: Glue the engine cover with the tubes and the ring to fix the motor and its respective gears. Step 5: Mount the engine cover with its support. Note: it is essential to take into account the tolerance of each printer for proper operation, the motor gears must be able to turn properly.
