Orca v0.2 X motor mount upgrade

Orca v0.2 X motor mount upgrade

thingiverse

This is a new X motor mount plate for the Orca v0.2 3D printer, offering a greatly simplified belt path. (The default belt path blatantly breaks the allowed design rules for T5 belts, and I couldn't make T2.5 belts last in it either). Instructions Print the STL or cut the DXF from your favourite sheet material. Remove the old motor plate. Remove the two idlers where the belt makes 90+ degree turns. Cut a piece out of the bar clamp under the motor to clear the motor mounting hole. Install the motor using longer M3 bolts (three 12mm, one 24mm, which doubles as the bar clamp mounting bolt). Install the belt.
