The listed parts are for converting 3d printed ORCA V2 FPV wing (https://craycle.com/product/fpvorca-stl/ or https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/craycle-fpv-orca-3d-printable-rc-fpv-plane) into VTOL. I ordered ORCA V2 through cults3d. Hover test video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdFEp42QF2g Maiden flight video of QHover to FBWA: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2w3EFrIKp0U Tail boom holder is designed based on the motor mount of ORCA V2. The rest VTOL parts are modified from Heewing T1 Ranger vtol parts by Marc Appel (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5348919) 3d printing material PLA, 0.4 mm nozzle, layer height 0.2 mm, wall thickness 0.4 mm (one layer), extruder temperature 205, bed temperature 60, printing speed 45mm/s, 20% infill for all front tilt parts; 50% infill for tail parts. Before gluing fuselage and wing parts together, I used hot knife cutting holes on the wing and fuselage so that motor and tilt servo wires (both extended) could reach fuselage. Front tilt mount part 1 and part 2 should be glued together to form one complete piece. They are printed separately to dig out printing support easily. Refer to nano drak vtol by Marc Appel for tiltrotor assembly instruction (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5387189). Front tiltrotor mount is fixed on the wing by one M3 *25(?) nut and bolt as well as CA glue. I drilled the screw hole at the location "~70 mm from the line that wing and fuselage are connected, and ~70 mm from the wing leading edge." Tail boom is a 12X10X120mm carbon fiber tube, stick into the boom holder and locked by two M2X8mm screws. The tail motor's center is ~65 mm from the fuselage end. This is adjustable for CG but should leave enough room for airflow downwards without obstacle. Flight controller: Pixhawk 2.4.8 (ordered from Aliexpress, https://aliexpi.com/bttR) Other FCs work too. Arduplane (configured by QGroundControl); Arduplane parameters are adopted from nano drak vtol by Marc Appel (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5387189). Nano drak VTOL's PID parameters work very well on Orca VTOL possible due to similar layout. The following parts are ordered from Amazon: 4in1 ESC https://a.co/d/eVi7L6f MT 2204 2300 kv brushless motor https://a.co/d/3qjV9uv 4s lipo 1550mAh 100C https://a.co/d/9t0E8SZ 5X3.1X3 tri-blade propeller https://a.co/d/bELPkBL 9g servo https://a.co/d/0Kz4ho2 This servo works for me but there are better quality ones like https://a.co/d/93EGIwI Have fun!
