As nearly all orchids are epiphytes, their roots require considerable aeration. When kept in pots, loose bark is typically used. Orchids further benefit from pots with lots of holes around the pot's side. Unfortunately, most of the commercial orchid pots with such holes are medium to large in size (120mm in diameter on up). Hence this design which can be used to make small, highly aerated orchid pots. The supplied OpenSCAD file is fully parameterized allowing for the size of the pot and the number of circumferential holes to be adjusted. Instructions The supplied .stl file is for a 10 cm high pot with a diameter of 8 cm. You can rescale it to get the size you want or you can download the OpenSCAD source file, edit the parameters in it, and render it. Enjoy!
