Order in Chaos Puzzle These 3 parts can be used to construct the wonderful 'Order in Chaos' sculpture created by Magnus Wenninger Also based on a model by TaffGoch. Instructions Print 60 pcs. of each part. These parts are 1.5 mm thick and are still flexible so they will bend as needed. This model was assembled using 3.2 x 8 mm aluminium blind rivets for the 2 layer-connections (300) and 3.2 x 10 mm rivets for the 3 layer connections (only 20) Use a 3.5 mm drill to widen the holes in all parts before assembling. It's a difficult job to remove rivets after you made a mistake so first take a good long look at the 'Order in Chaos'-file to make sure you understand how to put the parts together. On the back of the connections (inside of the sphere) I used small M3 washers. You need the washers because sometimes the rivet - when tightened - will rip through the PLA and deform the parts. Only tighten the rivets lightly - just enough to hold the washer in place at the back of the connection. This allows for some adjustments while constructing the model. Finally tighten / pop the rivets when most of the structure is in place. The result will be a sphere of about 65 cm. in diameter. Enjoy !
