For this open cut easter egg we based the design on certain oriental floral patterns. The cut is wide, creating large areas of open space, and the flora itself has a very tough look about it. The shapes, though sturdy, are made so they have a firm flow around the egg shape, creating a feeling of fast, but harmonious growth resembling plants from warm and moist climates. The model has been succesfully printed on an SLS printer in white nylon powder, and is designed according to shapeways specifications for white strong and flexible.
