Original Custom Filter for Mosaic Palette 2

I'm creating something crazy and making it happen while having fun with the Palette2. Every print tells a story, so I decided to create some one-of-a-kind custom filament filters for my Palette2. I printed these filters on my #Craftbot XL using a .4 nozzle #filament_filter @PalettePrinted #fun #functional #Canvas #palette2. It took some time getting there with meshmixer... I used the scan of the palette that Jermaul W shared on Facebook recently, then sliced off the part I didn't need to speed up processing. Next, I added a solid print onto the scan and performed a Boolean difference to remove the scanned part from my model. This left me with a perfect custom fitted part for supporting the Palette filament filters - it's still a work in progress but almost there!
