This is my version of an LED Lamp mounted on an Original Prusa I3 MK2 3D Printer, printed in PLA. The long LED Strip Lamp housing needs to be rotated around the z-axis in order for the entire length to be contained within the print volume. Slic3r, Prusa Edition, was used for this project. Post-Printing Assembly The Adafruit Pro Trinket is easily wired to the LED strip per the included Fritzing diagram and as illustrated in the included photo. Leave the 3M adhensive tape covering on the back of the LED strip and slide the LED strip down the slot in the long LED Strip Lamp housing. Left and right Extended Lamp Supports are provided. Either one can be used to house the microcontroller. The Trinket is "snapped" onto "MicroBarrel" (small rectangular piece) and this assembly is then folded over onto the end of the long LED Strip Lamp housing and the extended Lamp Support (either left or right version) is slid over the end of the long LED Strip Lamp housing. The narrow Lamp Support is slid onto the opposite end making sure the orientation of the support matches the other end. A micro USB cable is used to provide power to the lamp. The included INO file via the Arduino IDE is used to program the Pro Trinket. After mounting the assembled lamp on the Prusa I3 Frame, the long LED Strip Lamp housing can be rotated as need to obtain the desired display angle.
