"I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like tears... in... rain." -Roy Batty Orion's Gate is a starship battle game, pitting fleets of ships and support craft against each other in a deadly battle over the silent uncaring void. Build your ships as you want: Heavily armed and armored gunships, light support craft with hangars full of fighters and bombers, torpedo frigates with long-range sensors, or quick fighters bristling with powerful guns and engines alike. Then pit them against your enemies, blowing off clouds of debris from damaged ship systems and then using that same cloud as shelter from enemy sensors and weapons fire. Dodge enemy torpedoes and deploy fleets of fighters to intercept enemy bomber wings, and fly through asteroid fields and nebulas or defend a planetoid. Space is big. Claim it all. UPDATE: The rules have been streamlined and improved with the help of OnePageAnon and the One Page Rules group. Check out the new rules here, or in the attached and updated PDF! Instructions Made in Tinkercad. Print parts as needed. Please remember to print a Ship Base for each Fighter or Bomber as well. For assembly, DO NOT GLUE any components together or to the ship base (Other than Ship Bases to the base Capitol, Cruiser, or Frigate. To make a Debris Cloud, glue or wedge a cotton ball to the end of the Debris Cloud peg (Note that if you glue it on, you won't be able to slide the destroyed components onto the peg). To make Asteroids or space stations, simply glue a rock to a ship base. For Nebulas or gas clouds, glue colorful fabric or cotton balls to Debris Cloud pegs. For planetoids and other big obstacles, use your imagination!
