This is a mod for the Ormerod 2 with a quickset hot end to use the dc42 Mini Differential IR Height Sensor instead of the stock sensor.http://escher3d.com/pages/order/products/product1.php 2 parts are required. The X Axis homing pad. The existing peg must be removed and the pad attached to the existing holes on the X motor bracket. A new X Carriage with mounting holes for the sensor board. Update: Alternate X Carriage added. This version is based on the 528.4 build and has a bearing that runs on the back of the x-arm rather than underneath. There is little room between the sensor board and the Z axis rod so flat head or countersunk screws should be used to mount the board. You may need to slow down the X-axis when homing. Edit homeall.g and homex.g Change the F3000 in the move command to F1000 for more reliable triggering.
