The spacer is for an Ortlieb Roller Back. On the photos you can see an offset, this was fixed in version v3. The spacer increases the distance of the anchoring hook by 8mm. I needed this on my Dutch bicycle. The diameter of the carrier strut is 16mm. A longer screw is needed (approx. 20mm).
