I just got a brand new Ortur Laser Master 2 15w laser engraver, but am frustrated by the laser mount. The OEM mount does not let you lower the laser low enough to engrave on the surface that the engraver sits on (or even things that are thin, like card stock or the included balsa ply). This mount adds two more pairs of holes to mount the laser lower. The small tail adds further support below the mounting point. Note: in order to avoid having to remount the laser every time I use different thickness materials, I also printed these variable sized stacking feet: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4676121 Printing: No rafts or supports. Just lay flat and make sure your bed adhesion is good. I found I had to widen the lower large screw holes (for mounting the bracket to the carriage) with a drill bit. I didn't drill them out, just used the drill as a sander. Ymmv.
