Íf you own, like me an Ortur Laser Master 2 or any other laser with 20mm x 200mm frame, and you want to add a Rotary Roller like the Ortur Rotary Roller Yrr v2 or in fact any Rotary Tool, you will have to raise your laser or sink the Rotary tool to make it work and to get the laser focussed properly. On the Ortur as well as many other hobby lasers this mostly means raising the frame of the laser. I see many people fiddling around with a stack of wood or book beneath their frame but somehow i think its hard to get it kinda level. And with that, if you will have a larger piece on your Rotary Roller you will have to raise it even more. Thats when i thougt "Why not design a modular system to raise my frame and even, if i needed more simply add another module". Its like Lego but then self designed and added some feets to prevent the system from slipping and a piece to secure the 20mm x 20mm frame. It contains of a set of feets, you need 3 of them and they are only usefull if you screw them down. I myself have 3d printed feet for the laser on a wooden plate, and if needed i can lift the laser of these feet. Since the plate is a bit larger i will have room on the front and the back of the laser to attach these modular system feets to. (take care, screw them down after you got the whole system in place so you can mark the right position of the feet) Next we have the modular pieces which are all 35mm high and easy to take a piece off and add a piece. With 3 pieces you have 105mm which is about a good workable size but as said earlier, you can add a modular piece when your object is kinda high. So you need at least 4 pillars of 3 pieces is 12 modular pieces but i would advice to make 20 of them for a start. Then on top of the pillar there is a piece that will fit the frame. The pictures are of the first make i slightly redesigned it because i wanted the top piece to be able to stay in place even if the frame is in a position that you don't use the Rotary Roller. So stationed on its own feet. Mine were a tad to high the version you download should fit. Make sure you push the parts in as far as possible for a tight fit, we don't want a wobble. So there you have it, a modular an therefor in height adjustable system to raise your frame. It is printed without supports. (the modular pieces will have a little damage from that just one little line or so and on a place it doesn't matter, but supports would probably made the piece a little to wide so it would not fit) I hope you like it and have fun with it.
