Osu capacitive touchpad - With coins

A capacitive touchpad for osu!, designed to be printed on an SLA printer. It uses 2x 50ct coins for playing and 2x 1ct coins for extra functions (pause, restart map). It has quite a learning curve, as you have to hover your fingers above the coins and have to touch them blindly. It uses way less stamina than my keyboard though, so its easier to play for me and i'm playing for 2 years with it. Installation is gonna be a pain. You also need a Arduino pro micro + very flexible silicone wires A few tipps for assembly: - Install the 4 330k Ohm resistors on the backside of the arduino first - Push the Arduino in the printed keypad case (it is a very tight fit, so you may need to sand the sides of the arduino with sandpaper) - Somehow get the wires through all 4 "tunnels", this was the most difficult part for me. You should get very flexible silicone wires with an outer diameter not bigger than 1.5 mm. It is very important, that you get silicone wires, I tried other ones, they would not move around the second turn. - When inserting the wires use some kind of lube, i used soldering fat. Also don't kink the wires, as they will get very stiff and are even harder to insert then - When all wires are through the holes, solder them to the Coins first. They need to be soldered exactly at the middle of the coin and also straight. You may get away with not soldering them, i'm not exactly sure, if they would make enough contact then. - Drag the wire from the side of the arduino and put glue on the bottom side of the 50ct coins, as they may be a little loose and the should not move while playing, the 1ct coins don't need glue, as they are press fit. If the wire breaks of the coin and you wan't it to be soldered repeat the last step. - Once the coins are in, shorten the wires on the arduinos side and solder them to the arduino - Last step print out the bottom cover and sand it until it press fits If you need the code for the arduino, this is a great starting point: https://github.com/fb39ca4/kappa-pad I used that one before, but this time i wrote my own code. Maybe i'll make a v2 in the future which can be printed on a FDM printer
